What This Controls
- Product analytics and feature evaluation used to understand pages, onboarding, reports, billing, and workspace workflows.
- Sanitised browser error diagnostics used to find and fix reliability problems.
- Separately controlled, sampled session replay. BrandGuard masks page text and all form inputs before replay data is sent.
What Remains Active
Rejecting optional uses does not disable records required to deliver and secure BrandGuard. These include authentication and consent storage, billing and subscription records, workspace audit logs, monitoring job status, report generation status, abuse prevention, and server-side failure records. BrandGuard may send minimised versions of these service events to PostHog using an internal user, workspace, organisation, or personless service identifier as appropriate.
These service records are not browser-behaviour tracking. Their use is governed by the purposes and lawful bases described in the privacy policy.
